"The Incredible Hulk" vs "Hulk"

I rented both Hulks a few days back.

I watched Ang's moovie First... It is a masterpiece and the casting is marvelous. I rented the double disk Edition, which shows how Ang Lee (Distant Cuz of Colonel Lee) actually acted out The Hulk's Body movements using MoCap.

I still think the first moovie is the better of the twain.

The new moovie though... Appears to have taken up from the ending of The Incredible Hulk TV Show.

"Charlie Wilson's War" is a great film. Histerical at times, biting at others. Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman each did incredible jobs bringing these colorful characters to life in a very entertaining political film about the tangled and complicated story about the US covert operations in the Afganistan/Soviet union war during the 80's. Its a 10X better film than No Country For Old Men which...

So I was watching CSI last night and at first I thought I had already seen the episode but it turns out that the episodes are just starting to get very repetitive... This is David Carradine at is absolute best.

His character, or one of them, is a Blind man who plays the flute and can kick ass: Like Master Po but with long hair. I never knew until recently, that Carradine actually PLAYED that flute, in both of the Kung Fu Series (IE: Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, which was my favourite show in the early 90's) - And that he studied Kung Fu and easter philosophy.

1) I liked Jeff Hunter... I always dream about what if NBC had accepted the FIRST Star Trek PILOT? Jeff Hunter and Spock and Paul Fix was it? Who was the doctor..

2) On the other hand, Max Von Sydow played AGAINST TYPE (Ie, a Good Guy Ahahaha!) to give us a NON-Aryan Hayzoos. I like how they darkened his skien.

There is a lotta stuff about King of Kings that bothers me, mainly it is the score, which repeats the theme over and over and over and over...

I wish I could have seen this in the theatre. Contains my favourite three sword guys: Highlander's Clancy Brown, Gladiators Ralf Meoller, and Karl Urban, who beat the shit out of each other in a flick actually based on another flick of the same name, but made into a Graphic Novel at the same time the filming was done.

The result of this, is a flick that looks fuckin great, I love that Sin City - Sky Captain - 300 style that is basically a comic book brought to the screen. Comic boox...
