Wesley Clark is one of Hillary's biggest supporters.

he was knocking Obama on Meet The Press a week or so ago... so I don't think he'd be on the short list.

Hillary as VP is a bad deal for Obama. I think she'll be working against him behind the scenes, and don't forget you're letting an ex-president back in there with a bit of an axe to grind. I'd watch her every move

I think the smart play is Bill Richardson or Wes Clark, I would have said Powell at one time but he's a little too close to the Bush legacy even if he was kind of an outsider to that circle. Doubt his wife woud let him anyway, it's pretty well...

On one hand you have people stating "She has the female vote", or "He has the black vote".
Then, you have the racists and sexists that wouldn't vote for a black or woman.

I mean, if you'd vote for them because they were black or female, voting against them for the same reason is no different in my book.

Heres the deal...the majority of the American public would never vote for Hillary Clinton. Her negative ratings are high. Her positive rating is like 37%. Republican crossover votes would be nil. Democrats like me would abandon him. Obama would have all the Bill and Hillary crap wrapped around him....plus he's already got the racists against him. Most importantly...it kills Obama's whole message...which is change.

If Obama picks Hillary for VP...I'd put a McCain sign...

This confidence in Hillary totally amazes me.

I truly don't get it. After years of "the president lied!," half the democrats are supporting someone they know to be a compulsive liar.

Granted. Lying about big things is worse than lying about little things. But doesn't one lead to the other? I'm inclined to think so.

I'd vote for Hillary too..
And it would be historic and kind of cool..

The reason I like Richardson is that it puts to rest any bullshit the GOP has to say about either Hillary or Baracks inexperience in foreign policy..

personally i don't have a problem with hillary being VP. hell, i would vote for her to be president if she were the nominee. i think an obama/clinton ticket would be a great historical event.

It may be the best thing to get a Democrat elected. Disaffected Hillary voters could be a big force to help elect another fucking Repube.

If something should happen to Obama after he takes office, the drama and suspicion of Clintons would be over the top, I can hear Rush now. Sigh. Hope he heeds Secret Service advice. Of course, she also serves as a deterrent to a large population of otherwise determined would-be Oswalds.
