Yup, that's what they do.
I've heard lots of stories about the family pet being taken by birds of prey. Small dogs especially are at risk, but larger dogs have been attacked, too. |

I cant make this play but I wish I could..I need to get an APP that plays WMVs.
I saw a Mature female Golden eagle take a very small fawn in southern colorado when I was about 12.. it was incredible. We live in the Rio Grande watershed so we see lots of Eagles come though here seasonally, and the occasional pair that will stay and mate. There is a bald eagle that has come back to hunt ducks in the io Grande Gorge, I've seen this guy for a few years (I assume it's the same one). |
