I have no pigment on the tips of my fingers, none on my toes, no pigment on the very end of my penis (TMI, I know), and I have a white line around my lips. When it first happened I went to the doctor because I was very self conscious about people staring at my hands while I was playing guitar. It is almost imperceptible during the winter, but when I get suntanned it's frighteningly obvious. So I grow the beard and mustache and that kind of hides the lip thing. The dermatolgist said they have no idea how it starts, but may be triggered by some traumatic experience and I've had a few of those. Having said all that, I can only imagine how freaky it would look on someone with extremely dark skin. |

Well, Pete, I never noticed. Not that I was looking at your penis or anything.

I am not even talking about the other crap and trials, etc. because who really knows about that drama anyway - unless you were there... However, this type of skin condition could cause behavior that most people might consider to be odd and would also be a challenge to deal with considering his public profile ... |
