Obama has some of the best marketing money can buy. He has a brilliant logo, multiple slogans, a pretty face, and he's even laid claim to the words "change" and "hope." The following memo by a high level McCain staffer was accidentally leaked to the press. It shows the McCain campaign's struggle to find the perfect slogan. there's some pretty funny ones in there...

The one thing you can count on in this election is evolution of the game, Galmin. You can't slot this in a box and keep it there. That's what gonna make this the most entertaining election ever. For me. Not you. Not most people. Too many got an agenda. But for me, I'm loving it. Fire and ice make steam. Everybody in the world will drop down their guard in this fight.

I am convinced that this is going to be the most boring election ever. Anyone can win against McCain on one of McCains good days and having the situation were Bush has taken GOP up shit creek, I'd be surprised if they get to keep any seats that are up for grabs in the November general election. The americans are smarter than you think, Colonel. All the action is in the Democratic primaries, for crying out loud. Once that's settled, prepare for a boring election. The good that will come of it is: 1) that the USA will have its first black President. 2) that the USA will have a more sane policy regarding, well, anything really.

Well, we do know that Democrats think that Barack is better than Hillary Clinton...by a slim margin. That much seems to be getting settled. As far as McCain? We won't know till they go one on one. Look at it this way...the Democrats are not the whole electorate...nor the Republicans. It is only when we get down to everybody voting on a 1 on 1... do we see how it shakes out. For example....Hillary and McCain are very similar. More similar than Barack and McCain. If a bunch of Hillary voters slide over to McCain...bad news for Barack. But it is too early to tell. Too early for your crowing over a victory you ain't got yet.
