The good thing about the surgery early in the morning is that the surgeon should be in pretty good shape. Hoping for a good outcome.

The surgeon's in excellent shape.
Looks like she might have been a former member of the Swedish bikini team. Anyway, 3 hours in surgery. All good news. No cancer, no tumor. Doc said it might have been a gallstone that passed on it's own. Slight inflammation and she rerouted some of the duct work so it will drain better. Pain pump in place and a week's recovery in the hospital. Thank to all for the kind thoughts and well wishes.

Oh, and the gallbladder's GONE! I guess the doc told me in medical terms right afterwards and it didn't register right. Cholecystectomy. Of course she told me lots of stuff. I could have told her about the parts of a carburetor and she'd have had the same trouble.
