One interesting thing...a lot of people are still on the ballot. Edwards was a choice. As was Huckabee. And Ron Paul, of course.

Didn't have to wait in line either. Which hopefully means my vote carries a bit more weight.

Clinton won your state handily.

I'm shocked, just shocked to find that your local influence has waned, Kenny!
Their expectations will meet with vacuity

Yes...what a buncha losers I live with...I am disgusted with them. As are many of my friends. We did do better than West Virginia...but not as well as I hoped.
I guess Kentucky is like the 2nd most racist state in the country or something.
As far as my local influence...the local politicos were already locked into Clinton. In fact, Jody Richards, Dem Speaker of the House, and a guy who lives not far from me..... was thanked by name by Hillary last night. Which was stupid to me. Because...assuming Obama wins (which is the prevailing logic)....Kentucky won't get much from the Federal pork barrel. In the fall...it's safe to say....my state will go for McCain. |

I know how ya feel, Arkansas went 75% for Hillary. Lots of obvious racist feelings here, too, despite the progress made (Arkansas is quite racially progressive
in many ways. There are just hard pockets of white supremacist feeling). Of course, dumb Arkies still think of her as an Arkansan, too.
If Hillary is on the ticket as vp, though, I expect the state to go democrat in the general. If not...hard to say.

Well, Kentucky is not 2nd most racist then. Maybe 3rd, 4th, 5th or something.
Hillary as VP won't change the hard core racist states. They'll all vote for McCain. Obama needs the blacks, hispanics, and less racist whites to win the general election. Because there ain't many black Republicans. |

I was ALMOST going to accept the inevitability of obama... Until I found out he's a reverse racist. Screw that, I'd rather have a repugnican!

So, Jon,
What are you basing this "reverse racist" thing on? |

On stuff his "Pastor" said a couple weeks ago in an interview- He said Obama is real twisted, he hates whites- And he's half white even.
I'd rather see that guy who plays Riddick as president |

What I find really interesting is that Obama's demographics appear to be college educated upper middle class white people and undereducated, lower class
black people. What an odd mix.
