Silly, I know. Anyway, I decided about two, maybe three months ago I'm going to vote for the young fellow. I'm kind of hoping he picks that Kansas governor as his running mate. Not because I know much about her, but because I don't think the VP will be of much consequence one way or the other, and picking Sebelius would be kind of a slap in the face to Hillary who deserves it (the slap) in such a major way.
The race, I predict, will be very close...especially after the inevitable series of 'mispeaks' by Obama -- and probably his wife -- that will be played as either unpatriotic or condescending toward rural America. Unfortunately, the hordes in the red states will focus on that and the nonAmericans here will be correct when they point out that Americans are putting way too much emphasis on petty nonsense and not able to fully comprehend the real issues. I'm gonna really struggle with that (admitting the feriners to be right).
I think Obama is a good guy. But, I also think McCain is far more savy than he is given credit. A lot of people like him. Lest we forget that the Dems tried to get him to cross over and be their candidate a couple of elections ago.
