Can anyone decipher it? It kinda looks like I have 51 seeds on all of the different networks that are listed, correct?

JV, I'm glad you stopped in and checked it out, I was hoping I'd get you involved here. It obviously works. I do believe this BitTorrent Digital Distribution mothod is the future of broadcasting because anyone can share their wares even if millions of folks want it because the users / downloaders are the ones who pay for the bandwidth. As you probably know, we did Shoutcast and server side video Streaming for years ('98-'04) but couldn't keep up with the bandwidth costs and had to shut down 52media's servers. We owed so much on the bandwidth costs that we had to give them up to our hosting company, streamguys.com. Oh well, here's the opportunity:

If you have FREE QUALITY content, people will download it -AND- will definitely start TALKING about it and promote it for you for FREE! You can attach anything to these TORRENT files too! Videos, PDF files, fliers, gig announcements literally anything. Bands can make a TORRENT file especially for each town that they visit, think of the buzz that they can create and the crowds that will get into it and help promote their shows, etc. I think adding video journals, a record of their travels would be amazing here.

What I'm having trouble with is changing the DESCRIPTION. Adding files to the current folder is simple its changing the titles and description which I can't figure out. Any help will be much appreciated.

It's easy: Just throw some mp3's, videos, etc. write up a word doc with your bio, contact info, web site, photos, etc. and make a PDF, ZIP it all together for me and upload to one of those FREE file share sites like mega upload and I'll grab it and make a .torrent file, grab a tracker and serve it up for you. It takes a life on of its own I tell you. 30-40 people downloaded my lofi demo .torrent file today all 60.81 megabytes of it.

I would really like to do this for someone with enough great studio recordings, where we can serve a teaser which will help generate sales! i.e. promote your online order sites at CDBaby, iTunes, etc. You have to have a concise plan. Offer only the demos for FREE, link back to your CD order page/download page and promote promote promote !!!

I would guess that you'd prolly need 1000 DL to get 1 sale. If I had something to sell, I'd guess that I'd prolly be getting 73 sales a year doing it this way. Can anyone with a closet full of CDs use 73 extra sales???

That's 35 DL a day average of my 15 song demo .torrent since Saturday. Averages to over 12,000 in a year for DEMOS!!!!

Imagine if someone had some studio cuts to throw in ?
